ABOUT EV
I was christened Ewa but my New Zealand friends shortened it as it was, they felt, too long. However this now causes confusion, so I am well-named. To make it easier for people when I speak to them on the phone I tell them it is E for exciting, V for virgin on the basis you can fool half the people, half the time.
Like all woman, I don't reveal my age but to give you a little clue I grew up in Poland in communism times, the times of the uprising, Solidarity and the change to capitalism and I left Poland before it joined the EU. In practical terms that means I was growing up when everyone could afford chocolate but no-one could buy it as the chocolate was rationed on monthly basis, but left before chocolate became readily available but no-one could afford it. There was a brief period when it was available and affordable and I was there.
I am a Bachelor of Marketing, although I am sure I should really be a spinster (if we want to call each other names), and a Master of Information Sciences and Linguistics, although I should probably be a mistress. Maybe this last qualification is why I argue about semantics. In any case my boyfriend has offered to change both; think about it. I am thinking about it and will let you know what I decide soon.
In 2000 I started working on a cultural learning project, Discover Europe, in 2001 developed and then worked on the One World Project and in 2008 created a cultural learning initiative for kids It's Teddy. Before that I had travelled on several occasions and just love seeing new places, meeting new people and asking them loads and loads of questions. So, be warned, if you see me approaching, have a set of answers ready and be prepared to be interrogated; It's my communist background.
I am the general manager and a writer for the Snapshotsfrom website
