NOT EVERYONE looks at life the same way. Some of us have a more interesting, even individual view of things. Rich has just that sort of mind, if mind is the correct word to use. You must remember that he gets excited about being born on his birthday so, within these pages, he will share more of these thoughts with you.

Funnily enough you may actually learn something from his ramblings, if you can work your way through it. There is a line in a poem by Rod McKuen (if you don't know him, click here) which says "I came through the clothesline maze of childhood". Rich may never have escaped that tangled mass of rope and is somehow hanging on the washing line of infancy and his little thoughts haven't dried out yet.

There is even the possibility that, at some stage, they were placed in the tumble dryer of life and put on a long-spin cycle. They have now been agitated, regurgitated and thoroughly masticated. Chew them over yourself and, if you need, just spit them out, he won't mind.

Take a look around and see what you think and then dip into the vast chambers of this commodious pot. Go on, be brave.
